Lecture and screening. Paradise Improved  documents a seven-day performance in which John Milton’s Paradise Lost was translated into John Milton’s Paradise Regained by a method McCaffery calls “creative misunderstanding.” A Book Resembling Hair was a piece commissioned by the University of California at La Jolla for a forthcoming international symposium on the Aesthetics of Voice in Contemporary Performance.
