Dragu experimented with the abstract and painterly qualities of video in this study of the mysteries of breath, in particular, the working of the diaphragm. At once faintly medical and strongly formalist, flesh, fur and silk are employed in this pursuit. The artist wished to produce a work incorporating the skills of the artists at the Western Front while in residence there.
