This two-channel screening installation will occur nightly as a partnership with PuSh Festival. Throughout the evening, two actors perform an intimate time-based test of their skills, reciting again and again the final lines of Charlie Kaufman’s Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. What at first appears to be a meditation on love evolves over the course of the screening to foreground an experience of time. Within a seemingly endless repetition, the actors’ work becomes a meditation on cinema’s processes and an experiment of improvisational theatre.

Daniel Fish has worked as a director of theatre, opera and film, and his work has toured North America and Europe. He has also taught at the Yale School of Drama, Bard College, Princeton University and The Juilliard School.
