Samizdat was a form of self-published underground Soviet Art comprised largely of artist’s books and other ephemera; Sots art is Soviet pop art. This exhibition of contemporary Russian slogans and artist’s books featured the work of Komar and Melamid and other Russian emigres who poked fun at political icons.
