Video Bag was opened by Taki Bluesinger, who ran the entire distance from Vancouver City Hall to the Burnaby Art Gallery, changing his t-shirt after each of the fifteen kilometres. He was accompanied for various stages of the marathon by Mr. Peanut et al. The show itself featured Paul Wong’s first video installation, “Earthworks in Harmony,” and the debut of Lux Radio Players in a piece called “The Barge to Banality.” Mike Goldberg and Sheila Kincaid curated the show.
